Travel advice and safety

Travel advice, security conditions, local rules and entry requirements can change quickly. Check current official advice before departure and follow the instructions of local authorities, carriers and your Reiseria team.

For travellers departing from Germany, the Federal Foreign Office provides country-specific travel and safety advice.

Passports, visas and entry

You need a passport that is valid for the required period and has the necessary blank pages. Visa, transit, permit and registration rules depend on nationality, route, purpose and length of stay.

Check official sources and apply early. Reiseria can provide planning information, but the traveller remains responsible for securing the documents required for their trip.

Health

Arrange destination-appropriate medical advice well before travel. Discuss vaccinations, malaria or other prevention, medication, food and water precautions, altitude, heat and any personal condition with a qualified professional.

Carry essential medication in its original packaging and keep a copy of prescriptions and relevant medical information. Requirements can vary by country and may change.

Flights and baggage

Confirm flight times, baggage allowance, check-in deadlines and transit requirements directly with the carrier before each flight. Keep passports, medication, valuables and important documents in your hand luggage.

If a carrier changes or cancels a flight, follow the carrier's instructions first and contact the Reiseria emergency number in your booking documents if the change affects the itinerary.

Accessibility and individual needs

Tell us about mobility, dietary, medical, communication or other individual needs as early as possible. We will discuss realistic options with local partners, but accessibility standards and infrastructure differ between destinations and properties.

A request is not confirmed until it appears in the booking documents or has been confirmed by the relevant supplier.

Insurance

Travel insurance can protect you against costs that are not included in a journey price. Consider cancellation, interruption, medical treatment and evacuation, baggage, personal liability and activities such as trekking or water sports.

Local conditions and responsible travel

Travel respectfully: follow local laws and customs, ask before photographing people, protect wildlife and heritage, reduce waste and choose local businesses where practical. Be prepared for heat, weather, uneven surfaces, traffic, connectivity and changes in pace.

Your itinerary may include rural or remote areas where medical care, cash access or mobile coverage is limited. Your travel expert will flag known practical considerations during planning.

Assistance

For urgent help during a confirmed journey, use the local and emergency contacts in your booking documents. In an immediate emergency, contact the local emergency services first.

For non-urgent questions before or after travel, contact Reiseria through the details in the footer or your booking confirmation.
